Rodgers considering swoop for Rossi

Does Brendan Rodgers not understand the concept of a striker?
Note Brendan, it means who is a.) capable of scoring of goals and b.) fit to play on a regular basis if and when needed.
Thus, the Metro's reports today that the Northern Irishman is considering a bid for Giuseppe Rossi, a talented forward but one currently sidelined by his second cruciate ligament injury in two years, appears a rather strange one.
Supposedly, Rossi's fitness issues could make him a cheaper alternative than some of the other available forwards available in January but quite frankly, if a man can pick up two knee injuries in the rather staid pace of La Liga, just how would he cope with the frenetic rough and tumble of the Premier League?
Is there a chance we are descending into generalisations and stereotypes here? Possibly.
But then what has Liverpool become if not a stereotype of the once great club that went before it?
Controversial.

Adam Mazrani,
Do you work for the Metro as well? Because they don't do real journalism either. How about some facts instead of commenting on endless speculation? Any halfwit can do that. Oh, hold on......
You lazy little turd.
