Wayne may bridge a move to Brighton

Gus Poyet wants Wayne Bridge to take a massive wage cut to join his men on a permanent deal, Sky Sports are telling us.

The seaside club are desperate to keep the Manchester City player’s services on a long term basis because of the amount of quality he has shown whilst in the stripes, and to make up for the loss of wages that he will undoubtedly be agreeing to if he accepts Gus Poyet’s plea, the club have chipped in for a stick of rock and a free go on the Helter Skelter on Brighton pier.

The former England international started his career in the city he was born, Southampton, before having spells with Chelsea, Fulham, West Ham and Sunderland, and deciding to drop a division to play for a Brighton side with a hint of Spanish swagger.

Despite his massive jaw, Bridge is currently in a relationship with Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays and her decision on whether or not she would be willing to relocate could be a deciding factor in the move, so Albion chairman,Tony Bloom, has promised the group that they can take up a role in Gully's Girls, the club’s cheerleaders.

Go on Frankie, make it happen.
