I am staying for the long haul!

Leon Britain wants to stay at Swansea City for at least another five years and eventually become a coach at the club.
Britain will make his 400 appearance at the weekend against Reading as he looks to extend his stay at the club he has been with for over decade (excluding a brief two years at Sheffield United).
Although Britain has plenty of years left in him, he feels that he wants to finish his career at the Welsh club and in that time look to complete his coaching qualifications to then take up a coaching role up at the club once he has retired.
Britain was a vital player in Swansea’s promotion campaign two seasons ago and he is a firm fan’s favourite at the club. With this pledge to remain at the club for many more years it is safe to say he will remain a fan’s favourite at the Liberty Stadium.
The 30 year old midfielder highlighted that both Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are fantastic role models to him as they have both showed loyalty and devotion to Manchester United and Britain wants to replicate that at Swansea.
Britain says he still feels fit to play and is enjoying his football. It isn’t clear how long Britain has left in his career but one thing is one for sure he isn’t going anywhere from Swansea City.
