Jermaine still wanted in the Forest

Jermaine Jenas’ loan spell at Nottingham Forest could be set for an extension, according to Sky Sports.

The 29 year old swinging Spurs star has left a lasting impression on Forest manager, Sean O’Driscoll, who’s keen to branch the relationship further.

Jenas scored a goal in his final of four substitute appearances against Barnsley on Saturday and has shown glimpses of the class he’s shown before. The former England international has struggled to get back into the Tottenham team after several injuries, but is clearly enjoying time at his old club in Nottingham.

“He’s been great around the dressing room, he’s been bright and bubbly”, said Simon Cox, who slid through Jenas for his cheeky chipped finish past Ben Alnwick.

The Tricky Trees are undoubtedly eager to make further use of Jenas’ experience and influence in their pursuit for Premier League realisation.
