Chelsea to recall on-loan striker?

So it appears that it needed a red card to Fernando Torres (as well as his continuing poor form) to suggest to Roberto Di Matteo what many had been telling him since pre-season: that Chelsea are in need of another striker.
However, would you trust anyone at Chelsea to spend a penny on a striker after the £50million that was wasted on Torres? Perhaps that explains Sky Sports' suggestions that Di Matteo could recall Romelu Lukaku from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion in January.
Lukaku has scored three goals already for the notoriously goal-shy Baggies and could well prove to be the next Didier Drogba we were told he was when he made the move to Stamford Bridge from Belgian side Anderlecht last summer.
With Torres on this sort of "form", Chelsea certainly should exhuast every option they have!

chelsea needs someone to counter man utd's van persie and man city's aguero & tevez;
it is only falcao that can do it at this level;
the equivalent of dzeko, balotelli , chicharito, rooney as striker, can be countered by the likes of pato, schurle, etc, no problems;
lukaku is at the kids category, better have piazon if we think this level then!
see last game v. man utd, van persie can create smth out of nothing .. tevez same in last game;
that silly explanation of di mateo : "i dp not care if torres does not score he attracts people around himself giving space for mata / hazard" - who does not know this thinking is wrong? ha!
then chelsea will lose all the big games ..
