Mourinho: Get me Bale

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has urged his employers to step up their pursuit in Tottenham Hotspur wideman Gareth Bale, the Daily Mirror is reporting. Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move for the Wales international in recent months.

Former Madrid front-man Davor Suker recently suggested that Bale should move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, while former teammate Luka Modric, who moved to the Spanish giants over the summer, echoed the sentiments on his compatriot.

Bale only recently signed a new long-term deal at White Hart Lane, but the Spurs hierarchy are still bracing themselves for a bidding war from a number of Europe’s heavyweights next summer.
