Redknapp only wants a 'top' job

Since leaving Tottenham Hotspur early in the summer, Harry Redknapp has taken an advisory role at his first club and local club Bournemouth.

Redknapp has clearly stated that this role is only advisory and at this present in time he is enjoying time away from management whilst still keeping busy with Football.

However Harry is still keeping his eye open for the next job he takes a liking to and at this moment in time nothing has taken his fancy and it seems he is primarily interested in managing only a top club for example a Premiership team capable of getting into Europe.

Having missed out on the England job Redknapp realised he had to finish the season with Spurs and then take a break for a while from management. This gave him a chance to enjoy life a bit and to realise his future ambitions. There is no doubt a bloke like Harry isn’t going to want to be away from Football too long and therefore he will be on the lookout for his next role.

Harry Redknapp stated that he wouldn’t just dive in at the next available job; he would have to look at the club and its status and decide if he really wants it before agreeing to the role. His desire to work with top players has come about after his success at Tottenham and ensuring they are a regular in European football.

The former Spurs man says that if he is about on a Saturday afternoon he goes and watches Bournemouth play. Although he makes sure he is leaves the match five or ten minutes before the end  so he can get home to the box to watch the 5.15pm kick-off.

Mr Redknapp isn’t likely to drag he and his wife abroad to manage, maybe on a holiday yes but not for work as offers from abroad he has received don’t seem to tick his boxes.
