Battle of the Bosses over England youngsters

England manager Roy Hodgson and England Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce will lock horns over which of the them will be allowed to take Arsenal duo Wilshere and Chamberlain on international duty in June.
In the blue corner, weighing in with a superior position and the top job in the England set-up, Roy Hodgson. Hodgson will be taking his team on a mini tour of South America playing games against Uruguay and Brazil. Although these games are friendlies, they could provide a vital taste of the American climate before the Brazil 2014 world cup.
In the red corner, weighing in with a less important job but a proper tournament, Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce. While many might argue that senior international duty should take precedence over youth level, the Under-21’s will be playing in the finals tournament for that age group. Jack Wilshere aged 20 and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain aged 19, are both eligible for the youth match and Pearce will fight hard for their services.
