Taxi for Santos as Brazilian heads to Turkey

Life in London has been a mixed bag for Andre Santos since his arrival in 2011, and although he has failed to become a first-team regular his popularity amongst the goners is huge.

Santos took his football frustrations out on his £110,000 Maserati earlier this year when the full back was spotted driving up to speeds of 130mph around the capital, and the 29-year old is set to put his foot down again, this time with his manager in an attempt to get some playing time.

The defender-turned-winger has so far featured 23 times for Arsenal, scoring 3 goals but Kieran Gibbs’ unexpected good form has solidified his name on the team-sheet this season and may force Santos back to Turkey, this time with Galatasaray.

I’m not sure ‘he drives how he wants’ will sound as good being sung by the Turks.

Lot of rubbish written about a decent all round footballer. Some people seem to have an agenda to write him off and give Gibbs a free run.
