Villa look at Palermo star

Aston Villa are eyeing a deal for Palermo midfielder Armin Bacinovic.

Although they face competition from Italian side Napoli for the 21 year-old’s signature.

The Slovenian international has impressed in Serie A this season, and reports in Italy have revealed that his displays have caught the eye at Villa Park.

Villians boss Alex McLeish is looking to strengthen his midfield in January, and it appears that capturing Bacinovic could be his top priority.

The former Maribor man has scored twice for his current employers since making his debut last year.

He has already represented his country eight times too, and is highly-rated throughout Europe.
