    Wigan v QPR

Queens Park Rangers travel to Wigan Athletic looking for their second win of the season after earning their first Premier League victory since February 1996 at Everton last weekend. Liverpool must improve

The beginning of a new season of expectation. Champions League qualification? Easy, they said. King Kenny is the man. Top four? Champions, they enthused. And so it came to pass. Financial Un-Fair Play

The footballing aristocracy breathed a sigh of relief when Michel Platini outlined the Financial Fair Play rules for UEFA in these last few years, they were relieved because amongst the pantheon of established footballing giants, other, 'small' clubs managed to poke their heads in, and decided they liked it.

June to August; the time of the year where the words “exclusive”, “a source” and “the breaking news yellow ticker bar thing” (seriously, what is the name for that source of misinformation?) are used as liberally as fake tan at an Only Way is Essex convention.
