    Lewis McGugan: Forest talent (Video)

    Numerous relegation battes, struggling in their aim to return to the Premier League and multiple managerial switches; times have not been easy for Nottingham Forest over the past couple of seasons. There is reason for optimism, however, as they have begun the 2012-13 season at a blistering pace and this past Saturday they showed resolve in coming from two goals behind to draw with Birmingham City at home.

    Does the Championship deserve more respect?

     

    With the Championship season kicking off on the same weekend as the Premier League and La Liga it was inevitably going to receive less coverage than the two biggest leagues in European football. However there is no doubt that the league deserves more respect as it is arguably one of the greatest leagues in the world, the slogan more commonly used to describe it's bigger brother.
