Karim Benzema Still Has Plenty To Offer At The Bernabeu

Playing for a club with a stature such as Real Madrid's means that there are great expectations on the players as a result.

Mata At The Heart Of A Good Week For Chelsea

After conceding a rather embarrassing goal a mere 14 seconds into last Sunday's match against Southampton, Chelsea actually rallied themselves to quite a thrilling 3-1 victory over the saints. Once again, after quite a rocky start, when it seemed all but lost, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge will live to see another day.

5 Premier League Players Who Would Benefit From Being Sent Out On Loan

As a continuation of my previous list, which you should work out from the title, I will look at some more players that could be on the move in January in a loan deal.

8 Players Who Norwich Should Be Looking To Sign To Help Them Climb The Table

Often I see teams that are struggling and I think that they're not far off being a good team, they just need a couple of players to complete the jigsaw. Norwich currently occupy 14th in the Premier League, just four points above the relegation zone, but it's their defensive record and lack of firepower in front of goal which is becoming a real concern. They have the second worst defensive record in the league and only two teams have scored less goals than them. My list heavily features defenders and attackers but the midfield did receive some attention, which goes without saying.

Mourinho Rules Out January Move For Striker - Here's Why I Think He's Wrong To Do So

You would have thought with the poor displays of Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba so far this season that Jose Mourinho would be going all out to land a top striker in the January transfer market, but apparently that's not the case. The Metro say that there will be no deal to sign a forward at all - something which I don't think is right.

Chelsea Looking To Loan Real Madrid Defender - Player Report

The term never go back is a phrase often used in football, and although it sometimes proves true, a lot of the time it works just fine. A manager who is said to be ready to snap up one of his former players is Jose Mourinho, who has been linked with a move for Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao - a player he worked with at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Striker On The Verge Of Chelsea Move - Player Report

When Chelsea fell to a 1-0 loss at FC Basel the other night it only strengthened in my mind that they need a new frontman. Samuel Eto'o looked hopeless when he was on the pitch, and then when he went off injured Fernando Torres was even worse, though he had just come back from injury. It's been a common theme this season, the strikers have been awful in everything they've done, so it cheered me up when I saw the Metro were reporting that my beloved Blues are on the verge of signing Jackson Martinez from Porto.

What Went Wrong For Chelsea In The Champions League This Week?

Chelsea really are feeling blue after Tuesday's loss in the Champion’s League to FC Basel. Despite loosing 1-0 with the goal being scored late on, in the 87th minute, Chelsea still managed to qualify for the knockout stages and are safely through to the next round. Though its great that the west London side will continue on in the Champions League, it was by no means pretty, and they shouldn’t be at all too proud of their recent performance.

Torres Fit For Basel Clash - Here's Why Mourinho Should Forget About Selecting Him

Fernando Torres - a man who divides opinions across the globe. Some are still in the belief that he will make up for the slack start as a Chelsea player and the others have written him off as a has-been. However you see him, Jose Mourinho has declared - according to Goal.com - that the Spaniard is fit again and ready to face Basel if needed in their upcoming Champions League tie. But I would suggest that they should leave him on the sidelines, and here's why.

Chelsea: Sell Torres, Sign World Class Striker And Unleash De Bruyne To Win The League

Chelsea's season has been a positive one so far in my opinion. The return of Jose Mourinho has seen them climb top of their Champions League group and they sit narrowly behind leaders Arsenal in the Premier League, but there has been a few things that have been bugging me.

Analysing Chelsea's Start To The Season: The Highs And Lows Under Jose Mourinho

Chelsea are currently enjoying a decent season under the guidance of Jose Mourinho. They sit third in the league, just four points behind leaders Arsenal, and sit top of Group E in the Champions League by three points. The Blues' most recently outing ended with a 3-0 trouncing of local rivals West Ham, so I thought that I would analyse their good start to the season.

5 Players Who Chelsea Should Loan Out In January

To take a break from my 'who's on offer' series, I will be looking at five players that Chelsea should loan out in January to make room for any new signings and for those players that do go on loan, to gain valuable experience or just game time in general. Chelsea are famous for being very strict and blunt with players and staff. If you're under performing or not part of the plans then you're off. With that in mind, it's highly likely that Chelsea will either sell or loan out players to reduce their squad size and introduce the reserve players if they have to. I haven't listed them as being sold because I could only see one or two players that could be which isn't much of a list in all honesty:

A Tribute To Azpilicueta - Why He Deserves His Chance At Chelsea

When Chelsea signed Cesar Azpilicueta from Marseille last year there was an air of excitement that followed. Having Ashley Cole on the left, Azpilicueta on the right and a central option of John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill seemed as though it was a defence that would be beaten by few.

Oscar Eyes Real Madrid Move, But Here's Why His Long Term Future Should Be At Chelsea

With news coming in that Oscar wants the chance to play for Real Madrid at some point in his career, here is why I think the Brazil international should stay put at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea Ready To Sell Trio - Should They Stay Or Should They Go?

Jose Mourinho isn't one to mince his words. If the Portuguese coach tells you that you're not playing, he usually has a good reason for doing so, and if he tells you that he wants rid of you in the next transfer window then, well, you probably don't have too long left. And that is what the London Evening Standard is suggesting will happen to David Luiz, Juan Mata and former Newcastle striker Demba Ba.
