Four Udinese Players To Look Out For

On Friday, Arsenal were drawn with Italian side, Udinese, in the final qualifying match to determine if they’ll reach the Group stages of the Champions League. Udinese have lost some of their top players, including Colombian international defender, Cristian Zapata, who left for Spain’s Villareal. Swiss international midfielder, Gokhan Inler, who left for Napoli. While their star talent, Chilean international Alexis Sanchez, left for last year’s Champions League winners, Barcelona.

    Jelleyman has thrown a wobbly

“Jelleyman has thrown a wobbly” is just one of things I am looking forward to hearing over the next football season. If you do not know what I am going on about then I am not sure that I consider you a true football fan, either that or you don’t have Sky.

    Which Mario Balotelli Will Win?

Mario Balotelli, the twenty year-old Italian starlet of Ghanaian decent, portrayed by many as football’s answer to a pantomime villain, undoubtedly talented but making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The Man City fan that backs United and Fergie every year...to fail that is!

After a long, not so hot ‘Summer’ break, the Premier League season is inching closer to its return, and there’s no better place to take the pulse ahead of the new season than the local bookmakers. The off season has given the equestrian fanatics and A.P.

Blackpool FC – A Dream Crushed And A New Challenge

It is fair to say that Blackpool Football Club’s 124 year history has endured the kind of ups and downs you would expect to see on the pleasure beach which the city has become famous for. There has been little to cheer about on the Lancashire Coast since the seasiders relegation from the old First Division in the 1970-71 season and the glory days of the “Matthews Final” FA Cup win in 1953 were a thing of legend to the young Blackpool fans coming through the ranks; success of such a level could only be dreamt of by many.

The main problem with the transfer window

So, there is little over three weeks to go of the transfer window and clubs are still scrambling to sign the one quality player that will take them to the next level. Manchester City signed Sergio Aguero but still want Samir Nasri, rivals United are pushing for Wesley Sneijder, Chelsea are close to brining in “mini” Drogba, Arsenal signed Alex ‘Theo Walcott MK:II’ Oxlade-Chamberlian earlier today while Liverpool look set to begin talks with Birmingham City over the proposed transfer of Scott Dann.

    Welcome to 2011-12

It always feels like the longest 10 weeks in history when the football season’s finished. Just what is there to do over the summer? The only thing to read about is transfer rumours dreamt up by the club’s tea lady, or how your favourite stars sandcastle skills seem to be dwindling to say the least.

Is Agüero the first of many

Is Sergio Agüero the latest world star to join the Premier League, or is he in fact looking to be the first successful global signing since Tottenham Hotspur signed German World Cup winner Jürgen Klinsmann in the Premier League’s early years, way back in 1994?

    10 Possible Fabregas Replacements

This is one of the most difficult and challenging articles that I have written so far. Not only because I am a huge fan of our skipper, Cesc Fabregas, but because he's one of the most talented and best players in his position in the world. This article is going to cause some debate and I know most will not like it, but let's face it, Fabregas, will leave sooner or later to his boyhood club, Barcelona. Because of this I decided on making a list on 10 Possible Replacements for Cesc Fabregas. This list is based on their quality, value and the ability to replace one of the best midfielders in the world.  I hope it's a good read and please share your thoughts and opinions. The list is in random order.

    Liverpool Revolution?

It’s been quite a season for those associated with Liverpool Football Club. In October, new owners were brought in to try and stabilise the rocking ship that was once a dominant force across Europe, while in January, fans witnessed the return of a club legend, to take the place of Liverpool’s shortest serving manager.

    Passionate Premier League Fans

Watching an English premier league match, involving one of these big teams in a public viewing centre in Nigeria is always very interesting and challenging. There are always large turnouts of people at these venues occupying every available space, sweating profusely for lack of sufficient ventilation.

Daily Gossip Round Up@ Lukaku not short of confidence, Fergie explains Berbie exit and Gunners reject latest Cesc bid

The daily transfer speculation was temporally put on hold today with the football league kicking off this weekend.

Despite the eagerly anticipated return of league football it was hardly enough to prevent another Cesc story, an overly confident teenager and a blunder by Ferguson.
