Arsenal Linked With Potential Sagna Replacement, But Would He Cut It At The Emirates?

Arsenal are reported to be in a three horse race to sign Toulouse full-back Serge Aurier.
It is believed Newcastle and Aston Villa are keeping tabs on the £6 million rated 21-year-old Ivory Coast international, but Arsene Wenger has supposedly re-declared his interest in the young player as a potential replacement for the unsettled Bacary Sagna who is wanted by a host of top European clubs.
It still remains to be seen however if the current Arsenal right-back, who has been reported to say he would like to finish his career at Arsenal, should be satisfied with a potential new Arsenal deal given his lengthy service at the North London club.
Serge Aurier might be relatively unknown to those unfamiliar with the exploits of Ligue 1 in France, but should Sagna leave the Emirates in the summer then I can see Aurier adapting well to the pace and power of the Premier League.
Strong and versatile, the lightning quick full-back, who can act as emergency cover at centre-half for Arsenal, has featured 26 times to date for Toulouse scoring 5 goals and making 6 assists in the process - his best ever season to date. So much so he has ousted out Emmanuel Eboue for the right-back position in the Ivorian national team.
Would Bacary Sagna be missed? Should Arsenal step up their interest in Serge Aurier this summer?
Have your say.
