THREE Chelsea Players Who Let The Club Down In Embarrassing Crystal Palace Defeat

Chelsea fell to a 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace this afternoon. The Premier League leaders - or at least before kickoff - were outfought, out-played and deserved nothing out of the game. In fact Chelsea were lucky to only lose by one. After such a dismal performance, here are three Blues players who I think let themselves, and the club, down.

1) Frank Lampard

Chelsea are a side who thrive on the counter-attack, running at the opposition with pace. Frank Lampard has struggled to fit back in since he dropped out of the side and his display in the middle of the pitch allowed Palace to dominate proceedings.

He drifted in and out of the game and failed to inspire those around him.

2) John Terry

Ignoring his own goal, Terry was far from his best today. He failed to make a ngle tackle, he won only half of his headed duels and his concentration was poor throughout.

Need I say more?

3) Cesar Azpilicueta

The Spaniard was fired up from the start but that passion quickly turned to frustration as he was bombarded all game. His challenges became rash, his positioning was questionable and his all round game fell to pieces in the late stages.

The left-back attempted eight tackles and won just one, which tells you a lot about his display, while he was also poor going forward.
