THREE Reasons Why Luis Suarez Should Stay At Liverpool Despite Manchester City Interest

Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has been a revelation again this season and is a huge reason to why the Merseyside outfit are up challenging for the title. However, he is today being linked away from Anfield with Manchester City circling. Here are three reasons why the Uruguayan should stay put.

1) Rodgers' revival

Under the Irish manager Liverpool are a side challenging for the big trophies. They are in with a real chance of lifting the Premier League trophy for the first time and will probably be back in the Champions League next term. Their success is based around Suarez, who is the main man in the side along with Gerrard.

A switch to City would see him competing for a spot with the likes of Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko and in particular Sergio Aguero.

2) SAS

Suarez has struck up a superb partnership with Daniel Sturridge and the two lead the way in terms of goals in the topflight. The duo have struck 43 league goals between them this season, Suarez netting 25 and Sturridge 18, and as a result the Reds have scored the most goals in the division.

That's only going to get stronger, in my eyes, as the two continue to get to know each other's game. Why would Suarez want to give that up and start afresh with another partner.

3) Fans

Those up at Anfield adore the little forward. He is seen as a hate figure almost everywhere else in the country but has always been backed by the locals, even when he expressed his desire to leave the club. I think he owes it to them to stay put.
