Manchester United Linked With Bundesliga Playmaker - Where Would He Fit In?

Over the last year or two we have been hooked on German football. The Bundesliga has taken this country by storm thanks to the dynamic difference in the game and crowds, and also because of the dominance of Bayern Munich. There is a huge number of talented youngsters in the German topflight, but one that has received a lot of attention is Julian Draxler, and he is being linked with a move to Manchester United.

But who is he, and where would he fit in?

The 20-year-old is naturally a wide player, though is more than capable in a central role behind the striker. David Moyes is a man who likes two banks of four and two flexible players up top, meaning that United have taken up a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 this season.

For me, I would be looking to get rid of Robin van Persie and moving Wayne Rooney into the prominent centre-forward role. I would then have Juan Mata in the hole behind Rooney, with Adnan Januzaj on the left wing.

Should Draxler come into the frame then I would have him on the right of midfield, although a flexibility will be needed as he is a left sided player naturally.

United fans, where would you fit him in?
