Arsenal Need To Give Bendtner The Boot After Latest Fiasco

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is in hot water again with Arsenal, following reports of a complaint made by a taxi driver in Copenhagen on Wednesday night, during Arsenal’s loss to Bayern Munich in Germany. 

Unbelievably, the Danish forward is said to have threatened the driver and exposed himself in a drunken rage.  Now this is not the first time the Dane has been in trouble with the law, he nearly lost his life in 2009, crashing his Aston Martin at high speed whilst under the influence of alcohol. 

Last year he was banned for three years for another drink drive related incident and fined £100,000 costing him his place in the Danish team for 6 months.  Some role model.

How will Arsenal deal with this arrogant, playboy of a footballer who was given a gift from God to play the beautiful game? A heavy fine will probably be imposed but won’t act as a deterrent. 

Some argue he never got enough game time to impress Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal faithful, so by the time Oliver Giroud joined the Gunners, Bendtner supposedly expressed his desire to leave. 

He has made 190 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions to date, scoring 45 times in the process, but this latest public fiasco is surely the end of the road for Bendtner.  He has stayed too long at the club and Arsene Wenger should have sold him a long time ago.

His days are numbered.
