Chelsea: A Closer Look At How Hazard Ripped Fulham Apart

When Jose Mourinho arrived at Chelsea in the summer he found a player in Eden Hazard who was knocking on the door on the world class bracket. However, since the Portuguese coach has worked with him, Hazard has come on leaps and bounds and is now considered, by many, as one of the best in the world. There is a strong case for it as well, and he went some way to showing that against Fulham today.

The little Belgian was in marvellous form. He didn't manage to hit the back of the net, but he did notch two assists which went some way to winning the game. On the ball he was quick, precise and was playing with a sense of freedom, and off of it he worked hard to close his opponents.

The highlight of the game was his cheeky yet perfectly executed rabona cross, which Fernando Torres wastefully nodded wide.

It will be Andre Schurrle who steals the headlines as he hit the hat-trick, though Hazard was certainly a huge part of the Blues' win.

During the game he made 36 passes, six of which were considered key, and he won six of his eight take ons.

When in form he is a truly terrific player to watch.
