STUPID: Why It Would Be Foolish For Chelsea To Get Rid Of Starlet

When Chelsea signed Thibaut Courtois back in 2011 he was instantly loaned out to La Liga Liga side Atletico Madrid. Despite his tender age, the Belgian had a superb season with the Spanish outfit and started to be compared to the best in the world, under the age of 21. He is currently spending a second season at the Vicente Calderon and now almost 22, he is widely regarded as one of, if not the, best on the planet.

Another sterling performance in the Champions League this week saw him hit the headlines, but it also sparked discussion as to whether not he should be allowed to leave Chelsea on a permanent basis.

There had been whispers that Jose Mourinho would use the goalkeeper as a makeweight for free-scoring Diego Costa, but I, and many others, think he would be foolish to let him leave.

From his 23 appearances he has kept 12 clean sheets, and from his six outings in the Champions League he has kept three.

In the league he has conceded just 0.61 per games, on average, and makes almost three saves per goal.

Still only 21, I think this boy will be the best in the world, and for Chelsea to get rid of that I think would be a stupid move.

I agree, Cech has made some costly mistakes and while still a great keeper, his best is behind him. However, Courtios does appear a bit frightened of competition, he wants to be No.1..... don't we all?

If he's better than Cech he'll get picked if not we'll no doubt sell him...

U know cech is a niz keeper nd coutuors is very niz too but since we have found our self in a situation like dis, i think the best option is to sell cech nd bring back coutuors but my feir is dat, this guy may leave after his contract has ended to atlantico madrid sence he has spend fw of his laon their.. But i still think is the best.. Now dis is my opinion, since he has given us a condition as no1 so we need to do ask him to estend his contract with us like mor five yr with the blues, so we can hold on him or hav him for 7-8 yr in the club.. And forget about costa.. Ba is niz striker lets give him a starting or start in 2 matches or more with salah nd see what he gat.. I think salah is a nize march for him .. Try this nd the blues will be great... Becus swap wou'nt favour us.. I guess.. Bye
