Pulis Praises David Moyes, But Will It Work In Palace's Favour?

Manchester United travel to Crystal Palace this weekend in what promises to be a feisty affair. The two clubs have a sour history and with both clubs desperate for points right now I am positive it will a well fought out clash.

Palace are looking to continue their fight away from the bottom three and United are striving to climb up into the top four, and although the latter have suffered a miserable season so far, Palace boss Tony Pulis has been more than supportive for his opposite number.

The former Stoke manager has stated that he still sees United as a force in the Premier League and that Moyes has perhaps been unlucky.

It's always nice to hear a manager praise another, but in these circumstances I think that Pulis knew what he was doing.

United certainly have a more powerful squad than Palace, but to heap the pressure onto the Red Devils ahead of the tie I think is a clever move by the Welshman.

I think the underdog status suits Palace as they continue their battle for survival, and I also think that by confirming them as a big side in the league will fire up his own players as the giants come to town.

Make no mistake - if Palace get even a point from this - it will be a massive achievement!
