FOUR Things We Learned From Manchester United's Draw With Fulham

Fulham will be happy with their 2-2 draw at Manchester United yesterday, but the home side will certainly feel more than frustrated. Here are four things we learned from the clash.

    1) United dominant in almost every aspect

If you watched the game then you would know just how dominant united were throughout. They bossed proceedings from the off but were caught napping with Fulham's opener, and the second was a case of them being hit on the break after piling forward.

United had 31 efforts on goal during the 90 minutes, hitting the target with just nine, while Fulham managed just six shots in total. United also made more interceptions, had a better pass completion and completed more dribbles.

    2) Moyes wants balls into the box

During the game, United attempted 81 crosses. Yes, you read that right - Eighty one. Moyes obviously demanded a lot of delivery into the box, but the quality wasn't quite there and the Fulham defending was strong.

Fulham managed just four crosses during the game.

    3) Fulham resolute in their defending

The Cottagers registered an incredible 92 clearances during the game which suggests just how dominant United were. The likes of Sidwell, Scott Parker and Riise continually threw themselves in front of shots and seemed to be in the right places and the right time, but the strength of United eventually wore them down.

    4) United pass masters

Another remarkable statistic was United managed to complete 92% of the 645 passes they attempted, giving them a completion rate of 92%. Fulham managed just 64% of their 208.
