THREE Manchester United Players Who Disappointed In Their 2-2 Draw With Fulham

With bottom of the table Fulham travelling to Old Trafford yesterday to take on the reigning champions Manchester United, it seemed as though the result would be going just one way. These weren't typical circumstances though, as we have all witnessed the trouble that the Red Devils have been going through this season, and the result at the full time whistle continued United's frustrations. The Cottagers returned to the capital with a share of the spoils after the 2-2, and United can be disappointed by a couple of players in particular, in my opinion.

    1) Ashley Young

The winger looked a little sharper than usual but by the standards of what United are used to I just don't think he is good enough. There were times when he picked the ball up in the wide areas, and instead of picking his head up and looking for the best option, he instantly hit the ball into the box. Now, this was something United players were probably told to do as they registered 81 crosses in total, which is a huge amount, but it was frustrating to watch as there was sometimes no one in the box.

He also looked scared to attack people and was lazy tracking back.

    2) Nemanja Vidic

The Serbian defender looked as though his mind was elsewhere yesterday and he was to blame for the Fulham opener. He completely switched off and allowed Sidwell the space he needed to knock the ball past a static De Gea.

    3) David De Gea

The Spaniard is obviously the first choice goalkeeper at the club, but you can't help but feel his time in the team is running into the red. His command of the area is evidently lacking and the way he deals with crosses and balls into the box leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe a stint on the bench would help that.
