My Plea To Manchester United: Sack Moyes And Appoint Klopp

Having received a number of match tickets for Christmas to attend a handful of Manchester United games, I was naturally excited as I don't get to see my team as much as I would have liked over the last two years. Leaving Salford to plough my way through university in the capital I had to give up my Old Trafford season ticket. However, I packed my bags, bought my rail tickets and made the trip to the Theatre of Dreams to watch my team play Fulham. I wish I hadn't bothered.

The club is a mess right now, or at least in terms of on the pitch performances. David Moyes' arrival has seen out fighting sprit disappear almost instantly and after 25 Premier League games the fans are still waiting to see it return.

Yes we threw a load of balls into the box during the Fulham game, but most were aimless and failed to meet their target. We also had a lot of shots, but not even a third of them hit the target.

I have been patient with Moyes and his merry bugle of backroom staff, but when Darren Bent nodded that header past De Gea that was the last straw for me. I am now firmly in the Moyes out camp. This may be written in the heat of the moment, but I think the club have really messed up.

There are a list of managers who I would opt for over Moyes, but the one really want in charge of the club is Jurgen Klopp, who is struggling himself this season with Borussia Dortmund.

The reason I would bite the bullet and sack Moyes to bring in Klopp is because of the German's desire for his players to out-work the opposition. He isn't happy unless his players have travelled further than those his team are up against and I think we need to see some of that back at Old Trafford.

There is a sense of fearlessness about him as well. He's won trophies with the Bundesliga side playing silky, attacking football and I want that back here.

Please United, bring back the club I have loved all my life. I honestly think Moyes is crippling us from the inside and I can't see that changing any time soon.

He won't win a trophy while he's there that's for sure.I'm just worried that he's going to empty the coffers before he's sacked. All managers deserve time unless they dip under the minimum that is expected and he has especially for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. Please do the decent thing and leave.

Please please please please please please please (shows man utd current league position 7) If u love the fans rather than the manager David Moyes, again i say please sack him. I am 100% the fans are disappointed by man utd current situation but the board, chief and the staffs give high priority to Moyes rather than the fans. According to me it is humiliation for the Board of director, chief executive and staffs giving such opportunity to for one man rather than the supporters. I am man utd fans but i decided to cease watching man utd game untill David Moyes sack from the club and another manager appoint instead of him.

OMG, What a horrible result!!! This guy( I don't call is name) should go just right now. Is he a football coach?
I don't think. please please let him GO!!!!!

Agree totally. I wanted Jurgen klopp to begin with. It wasn't Fergies call to choose the new manager. We should've appointed klopp straight away. We would've attracted more talent and we would be in better shape. Moyes no tactics nu clue and destroying talent Luke kagawa Zaha Powell. Batman get this joker out I'd here

I completely agree with you Kevin .. i have been singing the same song ever since SAF decided to leave! I was horrified when Moyes was chosen over Mourinho/Klopp! Look at how Mourinho is transforming CHelsea! Fergi and Charlton who are rumoured to have said no to Mourinho must be turning upside down in their sleep these days!

For me i don't no whether the board of man united is waiting for this man so called coach to finish destroying the team before they get rid of him.We can all see that the players are frustrated with this mans horrific tactics and he David moyes himself is confuse with his style of playing and doesn't no what else to do to grab the result.SACK HIM OOOOOO SACK HIM

I completely agree with you, Kevin. Fergie obviously thinks he sees the same gritty Scot in Moyes as he saw in himself, and Sir Bobby wanted a British manager for continuity and to look after the youth structure. The fact is that in terms of performance, style, and ability to identify fresh talent, Klopp was the natural heir. Moyes is too rigid, too cautious and too intense to handle this job. The players play with fear. They no longer express themselves on the field. They are not let off the leash. How many times do you even see a player shoot from outside the penalty area anymore under Moyes? Unfortunately now this can only go one of two ways - either the team will sink to a level which forces Moyes out and then we can get someone such as Klopp in, or else the team will bumble along doing just well enough to preserve Moyes for the medium term until the board realise he can't quite get them to where they want to be. If the latter happens, let us at least hope he buys good players so the next manager has a squad that can quickly recover when they start to play with some freedom again.

Like you Kevin and others who have responded, Jurgen Klopp IS the man United should have brought in to follow Sir Alex.
Klopp has the desire, the spirit, the attitude and knows how to get his team to play the kind of football United are (were) famous for!
That Moyes was chosen to replace Sir Alex is now proving to be a whopping mistake. The man is not fit to manage United. He has totally removed all confidence in the players with his constant meddling with team formations and selections and his biggest mistake was removing all of the backroom staff who had a proven track record and then replacing them with others who like Moyes had never won a damn thing in management.
That old saying comes to mind, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' but Moyes obviously believed he knew better and look how it's turned out!
I have to point out it is impossible to believe that the same squad of players who won the PL last season by 11 points have become so bad, so without a doubt, the problem has to be Moyes.
He cannot cope with the pressure that comes with being manager of Manchester United and his constsant moaning about referees, bad luck et al proves the point. He has no experience of bringing in world class players or spending big money and by bringing in Fellaini and now it is reported he is interested in Coleman from Everton only goes to justify my opinion.
Everton is a smaller club who have won nothing since the 70's and players from similar clubs have no place at Old Trafford.
Returning to Klopp, it is obvious he is frustrated at Dortmund, we can all see that as he knows Lewandowski is about to go and a number of other players are being courted by a variety of European clubs. That means Dortmund are going to struggle even more and that's not to mention Bayern who have made the Bundesliga their own but amove to United could offer Klopp a golden opportunity to not only put United back on track but also to more than compete with Bayern on the European stage.
So to conclude - Moyes must go and the sooner the better for what is left to win now? The Champions League? We don't have a chance in hell!
I also suggest Sir Alex says 'sorry, I made a big mistake' to all United fans and the Glazers should then appoint Jurgen Klopp, give him the money which it's said Moyes has been promised and watch United go!

we all want moyes out but face it HE WILL BE GIVEN UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON !!!

Why would anyone want to sack Moyes. It is not his fault. He has inherited a side that won the Premier League but they are another year older and most are OAPS in Football standards. Glazers are to blame for how United now look as they have not invested in the team now they are in a defficult position and need to steam roll the investmet otherwise their cash cow is going to lose value. They relied previously on Alex Ferguson and those OAPs gave everything for him as he was like their father, he had them there for years and years. But Moyes is in need of a total clear out. Only players should be in side are Rooney, Mata, De Gea, Raphael and Van Persie although we need another World Class striker as Van the man is getting old and his injuries are back in demand. Midfield we have not got 1 player that deser4ves to wear the red Jersey in Midfield or on the wings.. Januzzi is good but a hot prospect, should not be playing day in day out. Defence, Ferdie and Vidic were legends but OPAs now and best days are behind them same as Evra. Man United should build the team around Equilieme Mangala as the general of defence and William Carvahllo the general of Midfield...2 top wingers perhaps Reus and GRiezman or Sanchez and Di Maria or Remy Cabela or even 3 of the above as they can play perhaps anywhere oh and lets not forget Draxler, perhaps he could be thrown into the mix as he can play anywhere on wings or attack midfield but perhaps he could be converted as a centre forward, Oops forgot the forgotted man at Real Madrid Isco, hear we are looking to bid for him, either way he is class and would be welcomed and so would PSG's Brazilian forgotten man Lucas Moura, hear we may be interested in a deal involving Lucas and cash for Januzzi... Januzzi is class but if we get Lucas and cash that would be awesome. Perhaps we could be cheeky and ask for Lucas and Veratti for Januzzi lol!!! In the Centre alongside Carvallho partner him up with Gundgongen to thread the passes through or Marco Veratti or even another combative midfielder but offers something different in terms of Vidal or a comnbination of some alongside Carvallho would be great as for strikers. Cavani would be awesome but would also like a young understudy perhaps in the form of Luis Muriel. Defence we would need someone to partner Mangala and thaty could be a number of people like Garay, Dede, but prefer Subotic the towering Serb. As for left back not sure who would fit in there but we surely need people to fill that spot.. gigs should retire, evra, vidic, Ferdinard Anderson, Fletcher, Cleverley, Nani, Young, Valencia, Kagawa, Hernandez ( for his loyalty and not getting game time) should be moved on for cash so we can invest in the squad. Smalling, Phil Jones, Johnny Evans, Wellback and Fellaini not going to set the world alight but good squad players. So in all United need to invest 300M in the side otherwise we will fall behind and become like Liverpool once did, we all know Glazers don't like spending the money but I think they will as they don't want to lose money which is the case if they do not spend money in the side the cash cow will lose value. Moyes is the right person for the job, it will take time to build another Manchester United, they've left the team decay and it will take time to repair
