A Closer Look At How Cazorla Ripped Tottenham Apart In Arsenal's 2-0 Win

Whatever competition, whatever the circumstances and whatever the weather, whenever Arsenal and Tottenham come together there is fireworks. Derby games mean more than just the points or progression to the next round, it's all about the bragging rights. This time round Arsenal got the better of their neighbours, running out 2-0 winners, and there was one man at the heart of that - Santi Cazorla.

The little Spaniard was on fire from the off and looked determined to puncture Spurs. He got his wish, too, as Serge Gnabry's perfectly-weighted pass allowed him to fizz an effort past Hug Lloris and into the back of the net.

It wasn't only the goal that impressed though - Cazorla had three shots in the game and made a key pass. His movement was clever and he only burst forward when he needed to, which allowed him to preserve his energy and pick his passes.

He had  71 touches throughout, which only Mikel Arteta bettered in the Arsenal side, and completed an impressive 81% of his passes.

Cazorla was causing mayhem from all over the pitch - swinging in seven crosses, floating four long balls and threading two through-balls, while also making two interceptions.

The miniature midfielder was all over the place this afternoon, in a good way, and Tottenham fans may be having a nightmare or two tonight with his face featuring.
