Premier League Team Of The Week - Includes Liverpool Trio

After weekend 16 of the Premier League, here is my team of the week. Comment below with yours.

    Goalkeeper

    Jussi Jaaskelainen - West Ham

The shot-stopper kept his eighth clean sheet of the season as the Hammers played out a 0-0 draw with Sunderland. West Ham have now had more 0-0 draws this season than in the entire Bundesliga.

    Defenders

    Seamus Coleman - Everton

The Irish defender is flourishing under Roberto Martinez and he scored his third goal of the season.

    Ben Turner - Cardiff

The centre-half made 11 clearances, won six headers and completed 81% of his attempted passes in his game time.

    Jon Flanagan - Liverpool

The young defender scored his first goal for the club with a brilliant swept effort during the Reds' 5-0 battering of Spurs. He was also defensively solid throughout.

    Midfielders

    Theo Walcott - Arsenal

The speedy winger grabbed himself a brace against Manchester City and looked as though he had never been away. His pace really troubled the City defence and he provided a number of key balls, too.

    Fernandinho - Manchester City

The Brazilian's work-rate was rewarded with two fine goals against Arsenal on Saturday as he continues his flourishing relationship with Yaya Toure in the middle.

    Jordan Henderson - Liverpool

The midfielder's form was almost unrecognisable against Tottenham as he rant eh show in the absence of Steven Gerrard.  His goal was well deserved.

    Leon Osman - Everton

Another player in our team who scored a goal, this one in Everton's 4-1 mauling over a struggling Fulham side.

    Peter Whittingham - Cardiff

His delivery is second to none and if he had a bit more pace and perhaps more power in his runs then I would suggest he would be a worthy top eight Premier League player. Outstanding.

    Forwards

    Luis Suarez - Liverpool

The little South American was at it against yesterday as he scored twice to lead the Reds to a 5-0 thrashing over Tottenham.

    Danny Welbeck - Manchester United

Stuck up front, Welbeck helped himself to two goals and terrorised the Villa backline as he linked up with Antonio Valencia.
