Why Manchester United Should Cash In On Winger Who Has Completed Just 3/10 Of His Take Ons

Ashley Young is a player who is easy to criticise. He is a lightweight winger who falls down easily, can't put in a cross and often finds himself tripping over his own feet. His move from Manchester United hasn't been the most successful on an individual basis and the fans are starting to grow tired of his antics.

Once a skilful outlet who was able to skin even the best defenders, Young's career has hit a proverbial brick wall. Injuries have played their part, but whatever the reason he is not what they need at the club, in my opinion.

Now, with talkSPORT reporting that they have the chance to offload him to Galatasaray I would suggest that they need to snap their hands off while they still can.

The Turkish side, led by former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has apparently seen enough of the player to feel he could offer them something, and although a fresh start may spark the life back into him, I can't see him having a huge impact. Nevertheless, Moyes now has Anotonio Valencia, Danny Welbeck, Shinji Kagawa, Adnan Januzaj and Wilfried Zaha to choose from in the wide areas, so needs to get rid of Young, who has completed three of his take ons this season.
