    In my opinion, Agger has been one of those who have benefited greatly from Brendan Rodgers' change in philosophy. You can see how by his passing accuracy how comfortable the Dane is with the ball at his feet, and he has made just one mistake in his 31 appearances this season.

    Agger is now 28-years-old and will have to start thinking about whether or not he wants to stay and be part of Liverpool's changing period or seek pastures new and fins a club with a greater chance of winning silverware.

    Those in the Anfield kop will be hoping it is the former.
