Should David Moyes raid Everton for midfielder?

Now that Sir Alex Ferguson has hung up his tired old boots at Manchester United and the club have named David Moyes as their next man at the helm, we ask the simple question - will Marouane Fellaini follow the ginger Scot to Old Trafford?

Rumours are rife that Moyes will raid his former club Everton for the trio of Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Fellaini himself, but with United boasting a wealth of talent in the backline we focus on the man with a bush on his head in the Toffees midriff.

We have seen a different side to the Belgian of late, what with the head butts, sneaky elbows and other shenanigans. Perhaps it's a sign of frustration that his form from the early parts of the season has deserted him, but is he good enough to ply his trade at Old Trafford.

United are screaming out for a central midfielder with both the presence and athleticism of a Yaya Toure type player, but also the creativity and passing ability of the departed Paul Scholes. Fellaini possesses both, and he can be deployed in a number of positions.

He has been used in a deeper role, on the wing, up front, behind the striker and as the pivot in the middle in recent years, and his 11 goals and 40 chances created suggest that he knows exactly how to make the most of his talents. He finished the season with a 60% shot accuracy, 55% duels won and an average of four defensive actions.

    Sign him up, Moyesy.
