Man City and Barca zone in on Liverpool star

Liverpool are facing a fight to keep their star at Anfield as rivals swarm.

Barcelona And Manchester City have identified Liverpool's Daniel Agger as a possible target.

Agger had another season ravaged by injury but there is little doubt of the Danish international's class when he takes to the field.

Barcelona have been in the market for a defender for a while now and Manchester City need another to compliment club Captain Vincent Kompany.

Liverpool Boss is eager to hold onto the cultured defender but his exclusion of their recent Europa league tie against Gomel has left Agger and his agent perplexed.

Agger arrived at Anfield in 2006 from Brondby.
