Exciting, young defender target of one London club

A Premier League club are one of a reported number of clubs interested in a highly-rated Italian defender according to the player's agent.

Marco Perotta of Pescara is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future after helping the club to promotion from Serie B last season and the 18-year-old's agent Ulisse Savini has said that Spurs are in the market for him.

Savini has also said that Spurs will face competition from AS Roma and AC Milan for the defender but that Perotta is solely focusing on the new season for his club where he is contracted to stay until 2016.
