Arsenal to beat Liverpool to Sahin

Arsenal will fend off competition from Liverpool for the loan signing of Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin.

Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to get the Turkish playmaker off his Madrid books but only on a temporary deal and that has drawn interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.

Now it looks like Arsenal, having lost Alex Song and Robin Van Persie over the past few days, will win the race for the 23 year old talent who has stagnated at Madrid following his move from Borussia Dortmund a year ago.
