    Gunners come to midfielder agreement

Arsenal have a deal in place that will see Nuri Sahin depart Real Madrid for the Gunners.

The Turkish midfielder is expected to depart Los Blancos this summer as the La Liga champions continue their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur’s Luka Modric.

Sahin will initially arrive on a one-year loan with a view to a permanent deal and will provide cover for the injured Jack Wilshere.

Trust me this guy Sahin is a top draw player, sadly hes been wasted at madrid only because they have so much abundance of quality in all positions, come to arsenal sahin because we can give you the platform to truly shine.

it is at this same page that i read dat wenger has denied such signings so how true is this ?

I think we can assume that Arsenal want a playmaker but beyond that it's all specualtion. Carzola would probably be best, based on the opinions of pundits, but Sahin and Ganso also seem to be on the radar. Regarding Carzola it seems strange that a club backed by oil billions entering the Champions League is now ready to sell their best asset and I expect the owners to rescue things in the near future. It's encouraging that Arsene has identified a real weakness in the squad and is looking at top quality players to fill the role.
