    Ramsey hoping for RVP stay

Aaron Ramsey remains hopeful that wantaway Arsenal captain Robin Van Persie will resist the urge to leave and stay loyal to the Gunners.

Van Persie revealed earlier this month that he wouldn't sign a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire next summer.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus have all been linked with the Dutchman, with the Italian giants thought to be his preferred destination.

Arsene Wenger said yesterday that he hopes that the 28 year old will have a change of heart, although the former Feyenoord man was not included in the North Londoners squad for their pre season tour of Asia.

Welsh midfielder, Ramsey, is hoping to see his skipper remain at the Emirates, particularly after the PFA player of the year scored 37 goals for the Gunners last season.
