The Tov Times Are Ending For Berba

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has stated that it is "better for everyone" that he leaves Old Trafford this summer.

The Bulgarian has been on the fringes of the first-team after making just 21 appearances for the club last season. The 'come and get me plea' from Bertatov has been coming for a while and is searching for first-team football elsewhere.

Berbatov isn't the first man to be involved in a tug of war between both Manchester clubs which United won and paid £30.75m for him from Tottenham Hotspur in 2008.

On his official website, the 31-year-old said: "I love this club, but I am not going to be useful to anyone if I am not playing.

The former Bulgaria number nine has scored a total of 56 goals in 149 appearances at United including scoring a record five goals in the 7-1 thrashing of Blackburn Rovers in November 2010. He became the first non-Englishman to achieve the feat and with interest from clubs all over Europe, Berbatov would be a great asset for any team.
