Liverpool wins race for Young

Liverpool have beaten Manchester United to the signing off Aston Villa winger Ashley Young.

The £15million rated midfielder has been linked with a move away from Villa Park in the summer with Young failing to commit his future to midlands club.

Young has only a year left on his contract and Villa risk losing the English International on a free next season, so may cash in on the 25-year old.
