Arsenal in for Chelsea fringe player

Salomon Kalou is considering his future at the Bridge and will wait until the appointment of the next Chelsea boss before he commits his future to the club.

The Ivorian international has been subject of a somewhat stuttering career at Chelsea, failing to convince any manager of a regular run out in the side.

Wenger has tried to sign the 25-year old previously but was knocked back by Chelsea,the Frenchman said  ‘We tried to get him (Kalou) last year (2008). But Chelsea refused and I have never spoken to him. I just asked Chelsea if we could talk about him,’ said Arsene Wenger.

The Metro reports that Arsenal could come back in for the Chelsea man with a summer of rebuilding expected at the Emirates.
