Premiership trio battle it out for Ivorian international

Arsenal and Liverpool lead the race to sign highly rated Lille striker Gervinho.

TalkSport reports that Spurs are set to miss out on the Ivorian international as Liverpool and Arsenal close in on the £10million rated forward.

The 23-year old notched up 15 goals for Lille this season, helping them win Ligue 1 for the 1^st time in over 50 years.

Gervinho said: "I have a contract with Lille until 2012 and I am happy here. Playing in the Champions League is a big attraction for me.

"But I also have other offers and I have spoken with the club. I will decide my future after the final game."
