Will Gary Hooper & Co. leave Celtic?

Celtic have just wrapped up their 3rd title win in the same amount of years, but, will their star striker, as well as others be plucked during the off-season?

After a convincing 4-1 victory over Caledonian Thistle in the SPL, they have secured the title with 4 games to go and 15 points clear, the Buoys are halfway through to completing a domestic double, with a final of the Scottish Cup to be played on the 26th of May. Instead of basking in the glory of victory, Neil Lennon will more than likely be looking beyond the end of this season as he fears he may be losing Gary Hooper, among others. With 28 goals, 18 of which coming in the league, Lennon has pleaded to the board to keep him from the clutches of other clubs, and rightfully so, he is two short this term from scoring 20+ goals for 3 consecutive seasons. Any team would want to keep hold of that sort of firepower.

Hooper is one of many Celtic players to be linked away from the club, Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster and to name a few of the more high profile players that have been linked with moves to other clubs, but none came as close as Hooper did during the last window with constant bids from Norwich being rebuffed during the finals hours of the last window. Expect a busy close season this year, either holding on to or replacing their stars.
