Andreas Cornelius, top of Everton's list.

Today, the Mirror has reported that Everton are once again looking to bolster their attacking options and have shortlisted Andreas Cornelius as the one to get them over the line as they seek to maintain a stint in European football.

Roberto Martinez has also identified Cornelius as a target in recent months, suggesting that the Scandinavian countries hold an abundance of unearthed gems in attacking talent, such as the Michael & Bryan Laudrup being the most poignant in recent memory and it seems the Premier League managers believe there are more of the flair Scandinavian mantle players to be discovered.

The big Dane, who is 6ft 4 tall has scored 18 times in 30 appearances for Copenhagen and is regarded one of the more high profile talent coming out of Denmark,  with him being mentioned in the same breath as Christian Eriksen as the more high profile talent supposedly coming to the Premier League. Reports suggest that he would be available for £5million to any suitors, and what a coup that would be, a clearly talented striker who is certainly got the build and stature available for that much, expect him to be wearing a shirt of an English team next season and I’m pretty sure it’ll be a stepping stone before moving onto an even more prestigious English, or maybe European club, as long as he maintains the growth he has shown for Copenhagen.
