Remy set for swift Rangers exit

Loic Remy's stay at Loftus Road looks set to be short, with The Metro reporting that QPR boss Harry Redknapp is resigned to losing the player.

Remy has been one of the very few success stories to come out of Rangers excessive spending spree over the  last two years, however his strong performances do not look enough to keep the club in the top flight. Frustratingly for Redknapp it means the man who he has spent years chasing will be leaving him before the pairs honeymoon period is even over, with a relegation release clause in place it shouldn't be to difficult for him to find a new home.

Arsenal and Tottenham are both believed to be interested in the player, with Arsenal having previously tracked Remy before but being reluctant to take the risk. However with QPR taking that risk for them and highlighting that Remy can cut it in the Premier League Arsene Wenger might be ready to rekindle his interest. As for Spurs their lack of strikers has been glaring at times this season with Jermain Defoe suffering injury problems and Emnanuel Adebuyor seemingly going through his customary second season decline, meaning that Remy could be seen as an ideal option.
