      Neymar to spark bidding war?

Brazilian sensation Neymar has alerted the attention of Europe's elite clubs by signalling his intention to engineer a move to one of the top leagues on the continent.
The forward for not be drawn on where his destination, when asked of a preference, though.
The news, as reported by Sky Sports, will no doubt have sparked interest from England's biggest hitters; with Manchester City reportedly leading the pack. As Bosnian Edin Dzeko is rumoured to be a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund, the Mohawk-donning hit man may find a slot in the frontline at The Etihad with his name on it.
A potential sticking point to the deal may be the uncertainty over the future of Roberto Mancini, who has underwhelmed City's oil wealthy owners with his side's performance on both a continental and league basis. FA Cup success appears vital to longevity of the former Italy star at Eastlands.
Any deal for Neymar is unlikely to come cheap, meaning that only a handful of clubs are likely to be able to acquire his services. City and Chelsea certainly fit the bill. A move for a certain Mr Rooney may give City's neighbours, United, some financial muscle too.

One thing seemingly certain is that Neymar will be lighting up the Champions League in the not too distant future.
