'Unsettled' Sergio Aguero to depart Premier League?

Sergio Aguero may be set to depart from the Etihad Stadium, with Mirror Football alleging that he may be set for a return to the Spanish capital.

Aguero, who formerly plied his trade for Atletico Madrid, is reportedly interested in the possibility of a summer move to their near neighbours Real. The story first broke via Spanish newspaper AS, which spoke of the Argentine forward being unsettled in Manchester. His form has been a shadow of his glittering 2011/12 season, and this is reportedly down to the breakdown of his relationship with with Giannina that has seen his son Ben move back to Madrid.

As speculation builds over the future of under-performing forwards Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain, Aguero has done little to dampen speculation. He has previously spoken of his desire to play for the Spanish giants, telling Canal+:

"If I'm at City, it's because (Real) Madrid did not show any true interest in me. I'm just taking the opportunity to clarify things in that supposedly I said that I would never play for Real Madrid because of playing for Atletico."

City fans will be understandably concerned by the news, as the futures of Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko appear to also lie away from Eastlands.
