    Arsenal target Cameroonian ace

If anything Cameroonian defenders are nothing short of character with Benoit Assou Ekottou and the legendary Rigobert Song being prime examples of this, It seems that Arsenal now what in on the Cameroonian defender action as they target Marseille’s Nicolous N’kolou. Their pursuit of the highly rated defender has been given a significant boost with The Metro reporting that the French outfit might be ready to cash in on the player, as like the Gunners they look to rebuild after a relatively disappointing season.

N’kolou is one of the leagues most highly rated defenders and at just 22, Arsene Wenger would be gaining a player past the fledgling stages of his career having competed in over 100 ligue 1 games but one who is also only going to get better. Wenger will hope that the defender can add a much needed resolve to a defense that has to often parted like the red sea this season, further to this he would he would without question improve a defense that at times this season has been bidding to make the record books for the slowest on record.

It might sound to Arsenal fans that this is yet another rumour linking them to an unproven player from France, however make no doubt about it N’kolou offers for more than being the next Rigobert Song.
