Tevez's Future 'Uncertain' says Mancini

The future of the seemingly perenially unhappy Carlos Tevez is once more in the balance, according to his manager at Manchester City Roberto Mancini, according to Sky Sports sources.
Tevez, whose hat-trick helped City ease past Barnsley in yesterday's FA Cup quarter final at The Etihad, has a history of being homesick, largely due to the distance between him and his young family. As a result Mancini is uncertain as to how much loyalty to expect from the tenacious Argentine beyond the summer.
Tevez's present deal expires in the summer of 2014, and he has made no secret of his desire to eventually return to his native Argentina. With this in mind City may cash in on their asset to avoid losing him for nothing in 12 months time.
Mancini has spoken out this week to stress that while Tevez's future is undoubtedly going to become an issue, he wishes to concentrate on the striker's form between now May, urging him to keep scoring: "Now it is important that Carlos continues to score because we need his goals until the end of the season. "At the moment we can say nothing. Our focus should be only on the last two months."
Mancini withdrew the forward with 14 minutes remaining in yesterday's cup tie, a decision which saw the two hold a touchline conversation, but Mancini was quick to refute rumours of a spat: "I asked him if he had a problem in his hamstring and he said no. That was it."
Regardless of the status quo, Tevez's future seems to be constantly in flux.
