Coventry face fight to keep Robins

Just when Coventry fans were finally starting to crack smiles again, The Mirror are reporting that manager-less Huddersfield could be about to swoop for Sky Blues boss Mark Robins.
The once established Premier League clubs have had what can only be described as a nightmare few years, which has included relegation to League One and persistent financial problems which is a far cry from the glory days of Steve Ogrizovic, Dion Dublin and co.
As if things couldn't have got any darker the club made an atrocious start to life in League one with them finding themselves in the relegation zone prior to the arrival of Robins, leaving fans wondering what on earth they had done in a past life to deserve such constant misery. However the ex Rotherham and Barnsley boss appeared to be finally masterminding the first shoots of recovery, taking Coventry to just four points from the play offs.
Unfortunately the financial mess has not yet eased and the Ricoh Arena outfit are not exactly in a prime position to fight for their man, with their main hope being that Robins might not fancy joining a Championship survival battle. Nevertheless having seemingly survived the interest of Blackpool and Doncaster it looks like it could be third time unlucky for the troubled club, with the footballing gods seemingly not ready to give the Sky Blues a break just yet.
For City fans it probably seems the misery will never end but there are enough examples in football of teams coming back from the brink to prove that nothing can last forever and City supporters should cling to that.
