MacAnthony sees things differently

Never afraid to voice his opinion, Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has criticised Nottingham Forest over their failed signing of Posh winger George Boyd.
According to Sky Sports, Boyd was all set for a move to the City Ground after passing a medical. A subsequent eye test, however, led Forest to call off the deal after they claimed to have spotted a problem.
Now run by the Al-Hasawi family, some fans believe that Forest were forced to pull the plug on the transfer after interference from the owners. MacAnthony was furious at the way the situation was handled, claiming he felt sorry for Boyd who had spent the whole day in Nottingham. Alex McLeish had reportedly been keen to sign the winger permanently during this January’s transfer window, and his eventual failure to do so was looked at sceptically by the Peterborough chairman.
Boyd previously had a loan spell at Forest in 2010, but he only played six games for the Reds before going back to his parent club. After quashing their latest attempt to acquire his services, the player will now return to Peterborough, where he remains under contract until the end of the season.
With Boyd missing out on a move, his club missing out on a transfer fee, and Forest missing out on a quality signing, did anyone benefit from the deal collapsing?
