Premiership return could interest Kalou

Sky Sports News are reporting that Ivorian Salomon Kalou would be tempted by a shock return to the Premiership and it is believed that a number of clubs are looking at him.
The idea of Kalou returning to England just 6 months after being released by Chelsea is rather surprising given that the 27-year-old was at best a frustration during his stay with the European champions, but as they say absence does make the heart grow fonder.
It would seem that despite struggling to hit form for Lille Kalou is now attracting the interest of the likes of Liverpool, QPR, Everton and West Ham. These clubs ears are likely to have been pricked up further by the general belief that his French side have already grown tired of Kalou's hugely inconsistent displays, therefore meaning they will listen to offers.
Even Kalou himself sounds a little shocked by the vast number of clubs showing an interest in him and you can see why he might find this more than a little baffling given that his displays were so often ridiculed by the media here. To be fair to Kalou he never really was given a consistent run in the Chelsea team and there is a smidgen of evidence to suggest that with an arm around his shoulder and a bit of love he can be a real asset, that evidence comes from the 2010/11 season where he scored 10 league goals and had a largely successful season.
He will always be one of those players who infuriates due to the vast gap between the good things he does and the somewhat shabby moments he has, and thats probably why so many are keen on him, the fact that every now and again he does show glimpses of being a real destructive influence. Further to this there is no doubt that he has the attributes to succeed, the problem is just getting him to turn the undoubted ability into performances.
The host of Preimer League clubs tracking him will each be hoping that they can do what nobody else has ever done and find the keys to unlock the mystery that is Saloman Kalou.
