      Ince to Anfield is unlikely

Another talked about move that has been going on all January is the move of Thomas Ince from Blackpool back to his first club Liverpool.

However that move now seems highly unlikely to happen before 11pm tonight and therefore if the Reds still want Ince then they may have to wait until the summer.

Blackpool have yet to respond to the bid from Liverpool for Ince and until the silence is broken from Bloomfield Road Ince will not be returning to the club that his father was once captain of and to the club where it all started for him.

The 21 year old has impressed many this season with some of his performances in the Championship and that is why he has been a hot topic for Premiership clubs.

When interviewed after the 2-2 draw to Arsenal last night Brendan Rodgers clearly said that the transfer of Thomas Ince is highly unlikely. However Rodgers did say that doesn’t mean the player will never be a Liverpool player in future transfer windows.

The Reds manager has been happy with business during the transfer window and has thanked the owners for the co-operation they showed in making sure that both Daniel Sturridge and more recently Phillippe Coutinho signed for the club.

It has been as an expensive transfer window for Liverpool this January than in previous ones but every connected with the club is happy with what dealings have gone through and been successful.
